Pisa airport is open and operational.
We collaborate with the health authorities and airlines every day to ensure maximum security for staff and passengers.
Following the directives of the Ministry of Health, we have implemented a series of measures to ensure maximum safety for airport personnel and passengers in transit at the Galileo Galilei in Pisa:
The personnel of Toscana Aeroporti are always available inside the terminal to answer all your questions and requests for information. The aim and commitment of Toscana Aeroporti is to ensure that passengers in transit at Pisa airport can reach their destination as quickly as possible and in total safety, and that at the same time the airport personnel are able to operate in conditions of maximum safety.
As required by the directives of the Ministry of Health and the Regione Toscana, in closed environments it is mandatory to wear surgical masks and maintain a social distance of at least one metre. It is therefore compulsory to wear face masks throughout the entire terminal area.
Our advice is to follow the government’s instructions (available on the website of the Minister of Health) and to contact the airline with which you are travelling.
Please also note that during security screening you may be asked by the operators to remove your face mask for the time necessary to carry out the screening.
All areas of the terminal are subjected to sanitation and sanitisation procedures several times a day (depending on the volume of traffic), using products authorised by the health facilities. Toscana Aeroporti has therefore intensified and strengthened its sanitisation and cleaning procedures, including the provision of dispensers with hand sanitising liquids in various areas of the terminal available to passengers and airport personnel.
The security screening remains unchanged. Visit our dedicated page to prepare yourself as best you can. Please note that during security screening you may be asked to remove your surgical mask (which is mandatory inside the terminal) only for the time necessary to carry out the screening.
Accompanying persons are allowed inside the terminal after passing through the triage procedures.
The shops inside the Terminal are open.
At the present time we are not asking passengers to arrive at the airport earlier than usual: just follow the normal procedures that require you arrive at the airport at least two hours before the departure of your flight.
Our advice is to consult the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where you can find updated information regarding the situation of Covid-19 in other countries. We also recommend that you contact your airline for further information.
Please contact your airline for all flight information and details.
Yes, the car parks at Pisa airport are open and operating as usual, except for the P4-long stay east that is closed for the time being.
The VIP Lounge will open again on the 1st of May 2022.
The dispensers are located at the entrance of the departure terminal and in the baggage reclaim hall for arriving passengers. In addition, there are other dispensers located throughout the terminal areas.
The assistance procedures for passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) remain unchanged.
